old school coaching not working in the new school NFL, look at the successful teams, even those with older coaches, the coordinators are fresh and bring multiple years of NFL preparation for their elevated roles, but they bring fresh ideas and intense prep

What is clear is the positional and unit coaches are either way past their expiration date or not competent.  The fact their HC keeps them tells me Tomlin needs to go.

Historically bad...look at the difference in schemes between the two offenses. Pat definitely made some great plays but they put him in great positions.

Tomlins run is great, historic and he'll be in the HOF but it might be over. And I wasn't saying this 3-4 weeks ago. If you can't out scoring in the nfl... you shouldn't have a job

The Steelers are just not good. How we are even in the hunt for a playoff spot amazes me. Offensive line is the biggest problem and most urgent need. You can’t lose Pouncey, DeCastro, and Villanova and expect to not have an issue. It does not matter who is at QB or RB, no one can be successful with this line, no one.

The Steelers have been putting bandaids on an open wound and kicking the salary can down the road for years in an effort to compete. It’s simply time to rebuild - it happens to every team. Sometimes it just take a while longer before it happens.
