You can't be a good coach and HORRENDOUS game manager.  You're trying to split the baby.  No way an end zone corner fade to Johnson should even be in the playbook.  Tomlin is, and always has been, an idiot.  But he runs the franchise, probably inherits cintrolling interest in the will.

Serious question. For those who think Tomlin is a good coach make the case beyond players want to play for him.  His in game management is horrific.  His decisionmaking in key moments is terrible. And oh by the way he stinks at picking coordinators.

Cowher had a couple of losing seasons, would have been fired by every other organization. Noll wouldn't have lasted past the mid-80s with most other organizations. The Steelers don't fire coaches
