I think Jon Hamm made gatorade seafood on 30 Rock.
JD
6:03
What seems gross about THAT!?!

Did Todd wear his sneakers on the wrong feet last night? I think so.
Quadrangular

I feel like there's *something* to be said for examining the second-half stats from the previous season - just not sure what it is. In some cases is can be helpful for predicting a breakout. Do you use second-half stats as a reference point or weigh them more heavily in any way?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:04
in a younger player, especially a pitcher, when paired with a real change in approach, like a pitch mix change, I believe a lot more
Justin
6:04
Dude you eat fish skin for lunch tho
Jeff Zimmerman
6:04
good point
BK
6:04
Hahaha who is Franklyn Kilome and why is he in Kimbrel's spot on the draft board?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:05
gotta find a "K" pitcher that won't be drafted that can place hold for some of these guys
Borksadork
6:05
You really don't like responding to Bork and see through his charade that he secretly lives in his Mommy's basement, but feel sorry for the lad and end up responding with a minimal "Hello" anyway.  Right?!?!?!
Jeff Zimmerman
6:05
but what does borkwife do
JD
6:05
Flaherty at $22, Taillon at $23 and Thor at $24.  Who wins?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:05
Thor baby Thor
Pray for Rain
6:05
Is Braun for $10 a better play than Marcel Ozuna for $15 just for this year? 4x4 mixed league
Jeff Zimmerman
6:06
All over Ozuna. projections like Braun at that price but dude is old and that team is deep enough to start shaving PT off his overall number
Bard
6:06
How worried are you about Soto’s ground ball rate? Expect he adjusts or takes a step back overall.
Jeff Zimmerman
6:07
I am a little worried because it goes up in pressure situations (against lefties, in two strike counts) but while its super early Soto is  hitting one ground for every three fly balls this spring. He's young enough to improve there. But I would take the under on a projected 25+ homers.
SD Conundrum
6:07
Keep Margot or Renfroe if their price is even?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:08
Margot. True defensive center fielder more of a carrying tool compared to Renfroe's power and nothing else.  I think it's probably Margot and Myers getting most PT and Franchy mybe back down until Margot obviously loses it, and Renfroe and Reyes in some sort of timeshare.

Need to keep three in a 6x6 league: Trout, Lindor, Vlad Jr., Severino, Bauer... am I crazy for considering Vlad with Trout and Lindor and taking my chances on pitching in the draft?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:09
not crazy at all
JD
6:09
In a roto league that counts K/9 as 1 of 8 categories, and 1st place team normally finishes above 10 K/9 EOS, how much do you discount Mikolas?  Roughly 1/8th?  Or is that too rudimentary? His high IP count and low K/9 is truly a huge drag on the category, but he's good elsewhere, and I'm lost..
Jeff Zimmerman
6:10
run the auction calculator to help you see how far he drops

Justin

Any shares of Jimmy Nelson this year
Jeff Zimmerman
6:10
Sure. But I would love to know what he's hitting on the gun first.
Jerry Ruess
6:11
Who gets first shot at the rotation- Strioling or Urias?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:11
Urias sitting 94+ so I think him
OaktownviaKCviaPhilly
6:12
I'm pretty pumped on Fiers having a full year in Oakland.  Given ballpark and division, could he be top 50 SP?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:12
had him borderline 50 but he still has to pitch on the road! value goes up if you can hide him a bit.
Justin
6:12
What projections do you prefer in the auction calc?..i love zips but it seems off this year
Jeff Zimmerman
6:13
The BAT and ATC have had the best fantasy results. Been using the duo so far, did yesterday.
BK
6:13
Who has the most fantasy impact out of Soroka/Touki/Wright/Gohara this year?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:13
I guess I'll take the healthy major leaguer: Touki touki touki can't you see sometimes yr hooks just hypnotize me
james
6:14
NL only 5 x5 260 cap pick 2.  Nola $18, Albies $7, Bradley $6, Senzel $1
Jeff Zimmerman
6:14
first two, though going Albies Senzel makes a lot of sense, too, so it matters what aces go for in your league
joe
6:14
Winker a $20 player this year?
Jeff Zimmerman
6:14
no but a good sleeper at $10ish
Joe E
6:15
My $35 Soto for his $8 winker and $8 musgrove? NL only.
