The "if you're" construction that's so cliche among announcers ("If you're the Braves, you have to score some runs here," or whatever) is really weird! Nobody listening is the Braves, and there are way more straightforward ways to communicate that idea. "The Braves have to score some runs here" being the main one. I don't think I've ever heard it used in another context.
