In 2020, his wRC+ was 37 vs LHP and 172 vs RHP

I want Albies batting LH

Having no horse in this race, I want a scoreless bottom of the eighth so it's a one-run game going into the night. Maximize the drama.

Love it!

Great shot.

Ride Urias just like Charlie Morton closed it out for Houston a few years back . . . Urias is in the groove . . .

If Urias runs into trouble in the 9th, is Jansen the one to come in and clean it up?
AvatarDavid Laurila
11:37
I think they do this.

Joe Kelly?
:)
11:38
Joe Kelly would be an interesting closer for tonight.

I think they'll roll with Julio and have 2 arms warming just in case.
AvatarAriel Cohen

I'd imagine that.

Dave has to stick with Urias here. Kershaw's never been great in relief. Kenley's pitched two days in a row and despite the last two nights, has had a shaky season. The rest of the Dodger bullpen has been beat up pretty badly this series.

2022 FA SSs in order: Lindor, Seager, Story, gap, Baez, big gap, Correa?
Eric A Longenhagen
11:39
I'd move the gaps up but otherwise think that's a fine order. I have concerns about Story's arm utility and think he may endup in the OF soon. Baez is the best athlete of the group and probably plays the longest.
Angel Hernandez
11:39
It would be a tad cruel to take out Hernandez ... but this seems like a situation for Rios

I approve of leaving Urias in and letting Albies hit from the right side

Albies hit all 6 RS homers from the L side this year.
Daniel

You want to keep Hernandez in for his defense, in my opinion.
Eric A Longenhagen

He hit for Joc in the DH spot.
but ordinarily I'd agree with that

When the Dodgers were down big in the middle innings of game 2, my Twitter feed was filled with variations of "they're in deep sh-t; they're choking again; they're done."

If you're the braves, who do you have as your 9th inning pitcher if you get there?
AvatarAriel Cohen
11:43
Will Smith?
AvatarAriel Cohen
11:43
Would be cool to see Will Smith vs Will Smith for the game in the bottom of the 9th.

great throw by Pache to make that somewhat close
he was shaded to left center

Urias it is.

Better SS prospect in 2 years: Cristian Hernandez or Ed Howard?
Eric A Longenhagen
11:46
I have more confidence in Howard's contact skills so I'll say him.

Pache has really shown up as a big leaguer this postseason.  We've now seen the strong defense, the plate discipline, and the power show off.  Shouldn't there be more excitement about this guy?

Anyone else rooting for extra innings simply because they don’t want this great series to end?

Dodgers are 84% to win.

Nice to read about your views on Pache or some other prospect then see them in person and think oh yeah I see what they meant
