You have fair concerns and a lot of wise perspectives. I predicted 89 wins and stand by it because of the pitching. I don't think the bullpen will blow half of its save opportunities all season. Also as u get Dickerson and Polanco back offense should get better. The team is also learning how to win tight games which is important.

Rich Rod has pitched scoreless innings in 5 of his last 6 outings. He gave up the bombs on Saturday against the Nats but has been pretty good overall, On Kela, he says he's healthy and so does the team. I'm honestly not sure but I think he will be fine.

As far as I know, there isn't a rule against it, Especially since it's a wedding ring. But yeah it's possible he could scuff the ball with it
