Cervelli should retire.  How many more hits to the head can he take.  I don't care what he has to offer.

This isn't a question, but I'll allow it. We had a fascinating conversation with him on Sunday. He's a proud man and I respect it, but he also is taking major risks by continuing to play. I don't know what the answer is for him because I respect him but I care about him more.

I just fired my agent. The PG paying you better than $1M per annum? If not, you know where to reach me.
And if my new age stats show that I’m a solid defender, that is the best argument against such stats that currently exists.

don't you have rehab to do?

Cruz was obtained by Tony Watson who was on expiring contract. So it is possible Huntington could get value isn’t there?

Not sure what you're asking?

You said expiring contracts do not bring much in trade. Cruz was obtained with expiring contract of Watson, he is now 4th ranked prospect in system.

But he's also 2-3 years away.

Sorry for the trade deadline laser focus, but do you think the buy/sell cutoff point is the all-star break itself, or more like July 17th or later, after we've played even more divisional games? There were speculations that earlier deals might happen, but the rumors at least have not really started to kick up.

And while I'm on the line, I'll express unequivocal support for Polanco. He had a major breakout at the end of last season and is one of the key cogs in the future success of this team in 2019 and beyond. The idea of moving him in order to give Corey Dickerson 10+ million a year after his age 30 season is ridiculous. Even if Polanco's breakout was just a very long hot streak, he's still at worst a slightly above average RF, and more importantly one of the very few power options we have.

I would say they'll wait as long as they can before making a decision.

Does a player on the 60 day IL still accrue service time? That is if Taillon needs TJ again, have the Pirates in essence lost 1 2/3 years of control or does the service time clock pause?
