It's going to be incredibly rare to see prospects traded this season, right? All but 2-3 teams have at least a chance with a hot start, there's no minors or shared practice footage to scout, and uncertainty about when anything like the old normal will resume. Maybe just call it the John Means trading deadline this year.

I'm still not sure there are actually going to *be* a significant number of trades due to complications with rosters and COVID

Well, I'm going to take off. Have a great rest of baseball evening! Three hours is the maximum anyone should have to suffer me in a 24-hour period.

But you can kind of *guess* the pros and cons of making Harry Potter into a movie and it's not like most of the judges had probably seen it either.

not saying that was what was going on with deGrom, but there are sometimes early season hiccups with calibration etc.
Ben Clemens
10:06
Benetti described the shift by saying "If you don't hit on 19, stop complaining about the shift" today
Amazing

Meg Rowley

In high school I got grounded for going to an overnight model congress convention

What gallant or meritorious conduct is Meg being rewarded for?

Every time that Little Caesar's commercial plays a doorbell, Ruby goes nuts barking
It's definitely the biggest downside to baseball being back

Brad Hand sat at 90-91, slider around 79-80. Can he live there or is that worrisome?
Eric A Longenhagen

We'll see, probaly not as dominant like that and makes me wanna double down on Karinchak eventually closing

Watching the Rangers game and MLB let 150 Rangers employees into the game
.... not all of them are 6 feet apart
Guys, there's a lot of room

And that office had a COVID outbreak
Ben Clemens

The Cubs/rooftop owners also had people watching the game, few of whom we're wearing masks
Ben Clemens
10:12
Yeah the Brewers announcers rightly mocked them
Meg Rowley
10:12
Same with the hotel across from the Nats park
Ben Clemens
10:12
The Brewers announcers also called at least 3 players on the Cubs "Schwarber"
10:13
So, I'm not saying it was all sunshine and lollipops listening to that broadcast
But they got something right
