it isn't, I don't think.
JJ

so it is not an ER against the pitcher or the team?
Craig Edwards
6:00
i thought it was treated as reached on error or something like that.
JJ
6:00
yeah, the error is the rule itself.
Craig Edwards
6:01
Whoa. Cespedes.
John
6:01
YO!!!
Tony Wolfe

The Mets have certainly missed him the last couple of seasons.
JJ

The universal dh really bails out that cespedes contract
Craig Edwards
6:05
pretty sure the injury grievance settlement bailed out the cespedes contract
Molina Mo Problems
6:06

Craig Edwards
6:06

You might have to rerun that best 3 hitters poll with Cespedes in there for the Mets (and maybe Davis, who had a 410 foot out).
Craig Edwards
6:10
cespedes' projection was like a 112 wRC+ which seemed pretty generous given he played like a quarter of a season back in 2018 and nothing since, but we'll see how his body holds up. And McNeil did have a double.
Lorenzo
6:10
hey let Mr. Met stay employed if the Mets are willing to let him/her keep their job.
although I have not seen Mr. Met, must be another game
Craig Edwards
6:10
it was on the ESPN broadcast.
Nick
6:10
What should we expect from the back end of the Mets bullpen this year?
Craig Edwards
6:10
Better than last year?
6:11
Honestly, with bullpens, who knows this year. They are always volatile and it is really hard to say which guys are going to come out great and who is going to have control struggles. And a couple mistimed homers are going to have an outsized impact on some players and teams.
6:13
Reds-Tigers just started with Blue Jays-Rays starting in half an hour before a bunch of 6pm central games.
JJ
6:14
oof that Tigers lineup
Craig Edwards
6:14
it's not good.
Greene
6:14
Do you like Grey or Castillo to have a better year for the Reds?
Tony Wolfe
6:15
I think they'll both be good, but I lean toward Castillo
Jon
6:15
Hey that tiger's lineup is a massive jump forward from last year. That says... Something
