Hello everyone, welcome to a panel discussion on "How tech changed journalism", by  Marten Blankesteijn (Founder & CEO of Blendle), Greg Dybec (Managing Editor of Elite Daily) and Stefan Betzold (Managing Director of Bild Digital) are interviewed in the TOA15 Studio by  Markus Hohmeier (Director of Publishing & Marketing, The European).

Markus Hohmeier introduces the panelists
Greg Dybec starts off by saying, "Social media opens new ways to story telling"

"The media industry is growing fast. There were challenges of transformation," adds Stefan Betzold.

Martin  Blankesteijn says, "young people never listen to music again, Publishers are not encouraged" to which Dybec says, "video is a new way to tell story and it produces a new product, it has really expended the context"

The panelists begin to talk about snapchat and Markus questions the potential of the social media application.

Dybec says that, "Right now snapchat is a tool to portray who we are, it can be termed as a new layer to maintain contact also it is helpful for cultural aspect, and helps to create new contents"

Speaking about the importance of the radio, "about radio, radio is replaced by videos. videos have the ability for monetization, video gives more creativity, space and freedom, wide range variety of story telling."

The moderator as a concluding question asks the panelists for the top three websites for news

Betzold responds; "about uploading articles on Facebook, we need to bring content to the audience where they are. Whether they are on Tablets, computers, or mobile. Facebook provides a good opportunity for a wide audience to connect with people. It's an experiment on how we expose content. Facebook is a great platform for storytelling"
Greg Dybec weighs in that, "I follow New York Times, enjoy reading editorials also I enjoy how hard news and politics are converted light interesting news"

The moderator asks for any inspirations that the panel would like to give. Stefan advices the viewers to enjoy the articles on the business insider.
He says, "Critical atmosphere and people to discuss is what we need"

Greg Dybec ends the discussion by saying, "i have never worked on a tech basis but always been a content creator also it is amazing to see technology invasions, also how contents reach people much quicker also aggregate in their interest"
