Collette really was down on Archer on the pod a few days ago. I love him, but in a 10-team lg that has saves and holds, my relievers are unbalanced towards holds. Are you optimistic enough to hold Archer, or should I try shopping his name value around for a pretty good closer, Britton/Robertson/Ramos? or shoot for higher?

Ya I was a little bit of a scorned lover after last year, but I still recognized how good this move was for him. He's pitching well home & away. I'd say top 30 is possible. I think I'll have him more top-40 when I do my updated rankings which are going out to SP Guide folks this week

20 feels high as he's not terribly efficient. But teens with a .750 OPS is possible. I think ppl don't realize he's a young guy who had some prospect love.

Your last podcast has me worried about Archer. Should I be trying to flip him for an upside arm like Stroman? I was offered Gray and Raisel for him, but how worried should I be? (I don't need the Ks).

I'd actually be open to the Gray/Raisel even though I'm a little worried on Gray (though I think it's more a funk for Sonny than injury). Sounds you like prefer Stro, though, so go for that. It's defensible for sure.

Been offered Puig for Shaw in a redraft. At the start of the season I would have jumped on this, but I'm not so sure at the moment. Shaw is helping me weather Fielder's poor start. Would you take Puig?

I would. Shaw has impressed me, but he's a double platoon plate - home only and vs. right only. I can't tell you it's all roses & butterflies w/Puig, but the bad parts of his profile (namely the pop-ups) are correctable

I think the latter is most important of what you listed, but also Winker isn't exactly forcing his way up with a modest .729 OPS so Duvall has leash

Don't sell low on J Up, won't get enough. Honestly depends how badly you need SP and what you need in pitching. Stanton still draws the most. I know he's hitting .221, but I'm not taking less than an ace.
