Hi Mr. Paul: I need your help to explain how G. Polanco year after year has so much difficulty trying to display the full range of what some have described as above average talent? I know about the injuries but I don't sense a lot of confidence from him either. I root for him and the Pirates but sometimes it is difficult to watch when you don't have much hope.

The easiest explanation is that he is just not that good. Period. There isn’t any other way to say it. He is not a natural five tool baseball player as he was sold way back when. He is a terrible base runner and has no instinct for it. He has not natural feel for playing the outfield. He has a big looping swing that is always going to be inconsistent. His talent is incredibly overrated

Why do you sir actually believe the Pirates will do things differently this time around? Because they have new mgmt? So what cheapskate Nutting is still the owner. You think he cares if us fans are upset? No he doesn't. And why didn't he spend money to add on a 98 win team a few years ago Paul? I've attended every OSU home game since 1987 (except last season, of course). Justin Fields is the most talented QB I've seen play for the Buckeyes in that time. I've never advocated the Steelers taking a Buckeye QB before but, if he somehow falls to #24 (highly doubtful), should the Steelers grab him? I think his floor is Bridgewater, he'll be better than Baker and while not as talented a runner as Jackson, a stronger and more accurate arm. What are your thoughts?

I don’t think there is any pressure on him at all yet. I think he has at least two more seasons before they start pushing for better results. They know what he inherited and will be patient

Is there any way Pitt could make the tournament bubble? With a Win over Clemson, and a deep multi-game run to the semifinals of the ACC tournament, I wonder if that would be good enough. While unlikely, still possible. What are your thoughts?

Do you think there is a profit number goal for the Steelers ownership? Meaning that if they play their numbers correctly with the salary cap, they make X dollars on the bottom line. I think with all of the TV revenue, etc, they can keep BR, and not hurt themselves. Otherwise in another "normal" type of business BR and others would have to be cut. Make sense?

Hypothetical...If Mason doesnt throw the costly interception and we win that game does that change how front office has handled the Ben situation? We typically agree on a lot of things but its hard for me to think Mason gives us a better chance to win SB over Ben. Get a running game and this is a different team
