I think they can find an inexpensive free agent if they are patient. Guys now are still getting overpaid early in the market. But if they wait they will be able to find a depth guy to sign

I don’t think panic. More like frustration because the Steelers never seem to be in on the big name guys. But again they are willing to pay their own players big money and never get credit for that

He felt unappreciated and they kept wanting to treat him as if he was year to year. I guess after nine AFC Titles and six Super Bowls he felt like he should be treated better

Well I think they do. That has mostly been about the fact that Winston fits in this offense. But I can’t imagine they could anywhere close to signing him because of their salary cap situation

I don't understand all the nay-sayers with regards to the ben situation.  We kinda had no choice.  Imagine if we let him walk what people will say.  I'm convinced Ben will be motivated by all the fatist comments and something to prove.  Lets just hope his arm doesn't fall off
and jesus people do you remember the 80's?  be happy that every Sunday the Steelers have a team that compete with anyone  for the last freakin 11 years! (except last)
