OK let's get started
Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus

Bobby Knight once said that everyone has the will to win but not everyone has the will to prepare to win. I believe Robert Nutting has the will to win but not the will to actually do the things needed to win. This situation with Brian Reynolds is absurd. Pay the man and do it via a long-term contract.  He's the building block for this team to compete in a few years.
Zeise
11:37
I don't believe he has the will to win. I don't believe he cares about winning. I used to but I have seen no evidence to prove it.

Another heartbreak for Dixon in tourney.  11 years apart he is bounced in 2nd round due to refs.

Zeise
11:38
Due to refs? Come on, man. That's ridiculous It was a great game and Arizona made a few more plays. Dixon even said in the end TCU's rebounding failed them in overtime

Paul, Do you give any credibility to the Baker Mayfield to the Steelers talk?
Zeise
11:38
No. I could be wrong but it makes absolutely zero sense they would go sign Mitch Trubisky then turn around and sign another guy like Mayfield
Jock Sutherland
11:38
Who’s your picks for USOpen at Oakmont in 2042 and 2049?
Charlie Woods would be 40 in 2049😀
Zeise
11:39
Charlie in 42 and Dustin Johnson's grandson in 49!
Jay Daven
11:39
Paul, has anyone spoken to Mason Rudolph since Trubisky has been signed to find out his reactions?
Zeise
11:39
Nope, he has talked one time this offseason - on the Jim Rome show - to my knowledge. I think with OTAs and minicamps and stuff we will get a chance to talk to him in May
DaGama
11:40
Paul, do you think Pittsburgh would support a WNBA team?
Zeise
11:40
No. And not because it is the WNBA but because we couldn't even support an NBA team. Basketball has a market here it just isn't large enough to support a pro team
Bernard
11:40
Many NFL player's have discovered social activism the last few years.  Any chance these same players take a knee when playing the Browns to protest violence against women?
Zeise
11:41
I would say almost zero chance of that but it would be very interesting to see how that was handled by the media
Bernard
11:41
If Ben got 6 games, reduced to 4, for 2 allegations, why would Watson get only 8 games (which seems to be the lean from media)?
Zeise
11:41
Because he already sat out an entire season. And while that technically wasn't a suspension I bet there will be a "time served" element to it when the suspension is considered
Bernard
11:41
Well done on the Miami dark horse pick last week.  Who you got this weekend?
Zeise
11:42
I still like Miami to get to the Elite 8. I think the St Peters train ends tonight. I could see North Carolina beating UCLA. The good thing about the Sweet 16, outside of St Peters, there aren't any lCinderella type teams left
Matt from LA
11:43
Although Hugley has indicated that he is staying, do you see the recent departures from the program a sign that the Pitt basketball program is on life support in need of major transplant (new coach)?
Zeise
11:43
They need to hit lightning in a bottle for sure. Capel needs to go get five guys who can play and hope they become a team and hope they come together and win a lot of games.
Bob
11:43
Why does the national media stubbornly cling to the notion that Mike Tomlin is a great coach? Do they simply ignore his dismal post season record over the past 11 years?
Zeise
11:44
Because his regular season record is almost unprecedented and because his teams win every year - or at least don't have losing records. He brings a consistency to the sidelines that most organizations would love to have

11:44
Doubt they would consider it, but shouldn’t the Steelers consider trading down this year  to obtain more 2023 draft picks (to give them potential trade up leverage in 2023, with the knowledge that next year’s QB class seems to be much higher rated)?  This year’s team won’t be a legitimate Super Bowl contender no many who they might draft this year.
Zeise
11:45
They could do that. A great example - say Desmond Ridder and Matt Corral are still on the board at No. 20 and they want either of them. They could trade back 10-12 spots or even more and still take one of them.
Marc with a C
11:45
Why is Bob Nutting so cheap? Does he hate Pittsburgh?
Zeise
11:46
No. He loves money. Many rich people stay rich because they don't spend their own money, they spend other people's money
Tom in Punta Gorda
11:46
Played 18 yesterday, 1st time picking up the club's since August. Played better than in a long time, got rid of my bad habits. Do you play better with time off, or going out 2 or 3 times a week.
Zeise
11:46
Yes, usually my first few rounds are good. Then I get back to thinking too much and trying to score and that's when I start to stink again
Kasperi
11:46
Hi Paul. Since I didn't get traded, I am working on my next Get-Go commercial while I also have shown Coach Sullivan my improved play. We are thinking of filming a scenario where I dream of The Stanley Cup & eat hot dogs out of it prepared by Chef Thom.  Yummy, right? Like Phil Kessell did.
Zeise
11:47
Good God, that would be atrocious. And you need to start playing a helluva lot better, my man.
Max
11:47
Can Joe Haden play safety, and is there a place for him on the Steelers roster?
Zeise
11:47
No I don't think he is physical enough to make that transition and I don't think he fits the profile of a corner that could ease into safety. That's especially given what the Steelers safeties are asked to do.
Bernard
11:47
I love that you called out Wooden the other week for his bagman.  Very under reported story.  Hasn't K gotten a similar pass for program and booster indiscretions?  I know the media hates Knight b/c he was a bully but I still think he was the best coach of all time. No allegations of cheating, his kids graduated and for the most part really loved him and he won a ton.  Where do you land?
Zeise
11:48
He was a tremendous coach but the last, what. 15 years or so of his career after he beat Syracuse were not particularly distinguished
Bernard
11:48
Steelers top rated DL and WR there at 20.  Given the moves they made thus far, who do they pick?  If Tuitt is in mental and physical shape, does your decision change?
Zeise
11:48
If Jordan Davis is there they will take him. So I think DL is the answer
John
11:48
Geno has played a lot better lately recently.         At least I haven't yelled "Bad Geno" at The TV at every Geno foul-up since The Nashville game 5 games ago. It was getting to be like scolding the family dog, Paul
Zeise
11:49
He has indeed played a lot better and he has been a guy who has made winning plays, too. He is a great player and great players figure it out.
Scott
11:49
I know there has not been anything concrete to report but what is your gut feeling on Tuitt? I predict that if he does come back he will pull a groin or a hammy in minicamp and have an injury plagued season.
