Can you perhaps enlighten me about Tomlin's extension and why it was given? He's won 2 or 3 playoff games in 10 years and his teams choke all the time down the stretch. What am I missing sir?

Not that I know of but I could be wrong. The process of offering recruits right now is silly - there are 1200 people in the transfer portal, the entire senior class got to come back and coaches are trying to figure out what they need and what scholarships they have

I don’t think so. I think Dobbs has a lot of other interests and is capable of making more money out of football. He will move on at some point. And Leftwich will be a head coach next year if the Bucs do their thing again

It will take a few games I think to get back to playing the way they are now. You are moving guys around and changing your power play so it could be a little bit of a bumpy transition

He is very knowledgeable about the game. And I think he has gotten better as he has done it more. The key for new broadcasters is to learn the art that less can often be more. I think he is starting to understand this and allowing the games to breathe some. His content is very good though and again, he continues to improve

I don’t think so - I think they might pick someone who isn’t all that interesting - like a linebacker or a lineman - but it will be a player that makes sense

That’s the thing - hind sight is always 20/20 - or 50/50 as Walt Harris used to say. And if Edmunds was a fourth round pick and not a first round pick we would think he is having a great career

Really interested in your take on this. Don’t you think all things being equal comparing two equal talent players it is best to go with a power conference draft rather than a mid-major?
