I know Jarry was/is supposed to be the goalie answer for the next 10 years - at least that was the plan.  But how does the organization have any faith in him moving forward.  Is he such damaged goods the pens have to go a different route in goal.

Well Murray was the answer for ten years, too and that didn’t quite happen. The Pens have to get a goalie and they will. They can’t go into next season with their current sotiation

I met Ron Hextall several times back when he was a Hershey Bear in AHL.  I know it has been a long time, but he was a maniac and fierce competitor thru his long career  Jarry's play had to kill him.  No way Jarry comes back, right?

What are the five tools? Bad base running, bad angles on fly balls, horrific slider, swinging at pitches out of the strike zone and incapable of throwing anyone out since his arm injury?

Have to feel for jarry, letting team down has to be rough. What is the answer at goalie? Desmith? Don't see how Pens would get a free agent that could be really good.

I have to see who is available but they are probably going to have to make a trade with some team. And frankly they could probably package DeSmith since his value is higher

Being 46 in 1986 is a older than a 50 in 2021...but I like your point about the deeper fields at present.

Also this - the Ocean Course was the longest in PGA history. You don’t expect a 50 year old to win on that course

There once was a goalie people thought sucked in the playoffs.  His name was Marc-Andre Fleury.  People don't forget, Tristen is still a young fellow with a lot of upside.

I don’t think so. Fleury had a lot of success in the playoff before he blew up against the Flyers. There is a difference

Because up to that point Legace hadn’t played, well had only played one game. For better or worse he had to ride Jarry
