How do you define mainstream? And sports? Is soccer mainstream? I enjoy watching that. I love watching poker on TV believe it or not. I enjoy college softball and baseball. And swimming is always intriguing to me

Hi Paul, other than googling individual "prospects" is there an all inclusive list of Bucco "prospects" and how they were attained?  Be it drafted, traded, Rule 5 etc.  I am old an not very net savvy...

I would assume some blog site like Pirates prospects would have a list like that or you could go to Baseball America or pro baseball reference

I agree, that’s like a cheat sheet! You get to play the course for two days prior to the event, you shouldn’t need a cheat sheet. I would love one time to see them make guys play a tournament with no practice rounds either.

Are the NFL rookie camps and OTAs the most over-hyped events you have to over each year? I mean, people get excited about Layne picking off Big Ben in what amounts to flag football.

I have long maintained that any kind of spring football is useless except for the new players trying to learn the system. That’s it. Freshmen in college and rookies in the NFL, that’s it And just basically to learn the terminology and schemes or whatever and not much else. It is an awful waste of time for everyone else

Yo Paul I know the Pirates weren't expected to do anything this season but it still is no excuse how terrible Shelton has been. His in game decisions have been awful including the pitcher removals and pinch hitting decisions. He sucks as a manager and lots feel that way. Thoughts?

I don’t completely disagree but I don’t fully agree either. Shelton has made some bad moves and moves that didn’t give the Pirates the beat chance to win. But he is also managing like a new age manager that is controlled by the front office and analytics
