Mr. Zeise.  I’m hoping Mr. Hillgrove’s recent driving incident does not cause him to lose his broadcasting jobs with Pitt and the Steelers.  Thank God nobody was hurt.  Not many people have had a comparable career.

I think he has had a distinguished enough career and enough good will capital built up with both organizations that he will probably be able to survive it. I’m sure there will be some conditions placed on him but I think he will survive.

I think this offense can be great with the two tight ends we have and the talent at receiver, plus O-line. Will it take a while to get that going because of the COVID restrictions? We need a fast start.

I don’t think so. They will have a training camp and they have a lot of veteran players so I don’t know why they would get off to a slow start.

The whole coronavirus has got to be tough on the players winding down their careers. If any sports season is cancelled or shorted this is taking away their last healthy productive years.I think about the Pens and Patrick Marleau and other players such as him.

Yes that’s true and also applies to seniors in college who had their last year wiped out and are at a school this isn’t going to honor their scholarship for another year like Wisconsin. It is a weird time for all of us

Yes. Why wouldn’t they? They are official games and they count as official games so they would go on the coaches records too

He spoke at a Christian men’s conference this weekend and talked about all of the addictions he has battled. Porn is one of them. It is actually a good message of hope through faith but of course people want to cherry pick the juicy parts of it which is a sad commentary of where we are as a society

How will baseball teams replace injured or ill players with no minor leagues? And, of the up to 60 players in spring training2, what happens to those not on the ML roster?

They all have a taxi squad that will work out on a minor league park and stay in shape and ready to play if they get called up. It isn’t that much different than the system now except they won’t be playing minor league games

In response to John Strange I think the billionaire players will be fine also. This is not just a billionaire owners thing the money they pay out is not just money from tv, advertising, etc. they had to have the money to buy in to own a team whether they inherited it or made it.  Any person who gets to play a kids game for any amount of time where the minimum salary is more then I make combined over several years.  They need to go back to players having to work in the off season at a real job. Then we'll see how some of these divas react.

Your comment of NFL acknowledging BLM is racist. The BLM terror group cares NOTHING about Black Lives. Otherwise they would go to Chicago and stop all the carnage that blacks do to each other. This is sports leave politics out of it.

Is there any clarity now regarding cut down dates and amount of players on the roster at certain dates.  Seems confusing at best and impossible to strategically determine???

I’ll assume you are talking baseball. They will have 30 men rosters for first two weeks of tru season. They will have 28 man rosters for the second two weeks. They will then have 26 man rosters for duration. The trade deadline is Aug 31
