So the ice for the Pens game the other day was awful and that was only after one game. The Pens are a speed team and need good ice to maximize their game so it will put them at a disadvantage. Given that there are no fans allowed in Toronto and the surplus of arenas in the area (including the old Maple Leaf Gardens, which is where Ryerson University plays and where 15 million in improvements were just made) wouldn't it make more sense for the NHL to use multiple rinks rather then just SBA for its spotlight event ?

I would venture to guess it has something to do with the protocols necessary to create a bubble. One arena means only one arena of workers to monitor and one arena to keep clean

Worried about the Pens D. Letang Schultz and Johnson looked a bit sluggish the other day (expected in an exhibition) and of course Geno has his usual brain fart that led to an easy goal against. I see them getting over on the Habs but I'm not real confident they are winning that second round match up unless the stars come to play and score 4-5 goal per game. What is your confidence level?

I disagree with that - I think the Pens were rusty and will play much better as they knock the rust off.

Do we have any more questions today?

Well let’s wrap it up and get ready for a weekend of baseball and hockey!
We will do it again next weekend
