It is a fluke year. The Steelers have an excellent training staff and have for a number of years. Sometimes it just rains and pours with injuries.

Will the Steelers ever get James Connor back to a 4.0 ypc running back? Bennie Snell was 4.4 the last game and seemed to be much better at hitting openings. Is Connor a one year wonder and if not what's the core problem, the offensive line?

Conner ran harder and played better last week. He has to continue to run hard and do his part but the offensive line hasn’t played well either. It is an entire operation and some of it is the quarterbacks aren’t experienced enough to check into the best running situations like Ben Roethlisberger would. That comes with experience. It is a whole operation with a lot of moving parts but you’d think the line will block better, Conner will run harder and the quarterbacks will do better getting into good run situations and all of that will add up to a much better run situation
