Hey guys, we'll get started in a minute. Submit your questions and I'll try to get to as many as possible!

Where will Jimmy G? End up?
Zach Links
10:42
I think Jimmy Garoppolo winds up with the Browns. They've long been keying in on him as their No. 1 target and they can give him a year to develop before they try and put it all together in '18 using their cap room. They have the draft stockpile to get a deal done and, as evidenced by the Collins deal, they have the relationship with NE to broker a trade.

Where does Fitzpatrick end up?
Zach Links
10:44
Great question. I think he could find a situation where he gets a one-year deal with a low base and modest incentives and is still installed as the day 1 starter. He could be a transitional option for a team like the 49ers, though Shanahan will want someone stronger so that he can better demonstrate his offense.
10:45
In reality, Fitz should be a well paid No. 2 QB somewhere, but it's slim pickins out there
OH HELLO
10:45
What should the Jets do about their QB situation?
Zach Links
10:48
Personally, I'm not wowed by anyone in this year's class. Could Mitch Trubisky pan out? Totally. But even this year's supposed "safe" pick at QB only has one year to go on as a starter. No thanks. The Jets need to plug in a transitional guy. Maybe Jay Cutler could be had on a one-year prove it deal when he's inevitably released.
I'm a bigger proponent of Tyrod Taylor than many others out there, but I think he'll wind up out of the Jets' price range and he'll probably require a multi-year commitment (assuming Bills don't exercise his option)
10:49
Mike Glennon also seems like a guy who will get too much $ thrown at him and the Jets have limited cap space. Cutler can capably run an offense and he'll be eager to rebuild his value and potentially cash in for 2018

How many Super Bowl titles will the Vikings win in the next five years? Five? Six?
Zach Links
10:50
I say 10 Super Bowl rings in the next five years is feasible for them. At least, it seems possible in a universe where living people have ghosts.

Is Bouye worth the expected asking price if your the Titans?
Zach Links
10:54
Bouye is a fascinating free agent case. Aaron Wilson recently projected $13MM/year for him and while that seems outrageous for a guy with only one notable season on his resume, it's totally possible given his age. Of course, the guaranteed cash is what really matters so I could see that kind of AAV on a deal where a team could get out of the deal after year 2.

Specifically for the Titans - he'd be a great pickup for their secondary and it would weaken a divisional rival at the same time. I'd endorse it...depending on the gtd money and cashflow.

Am I ever playing again?
Zach Links
10:54
I really really really hope so. The Vikings know that this is a dicey situation, however, hence the aggressive trade for Sam Bradford.

10:55
Is Eric Berry staying in KC?
Zach Links
10:58
Ultimately, yes, I think KC finds a way to get a deal done. They were pragmatic about things last summer and utilized the tag rather than making a long-term commitment to him.

This time around, Berry says he won't play under the tag again. I don't know if that's true, but at minimum, it would create an uncomfortable situation b/w the team and its locker room leader/fan favorite.
11:00
What's a fair deal for Berry? Safeties don't get paid like cornerbacks and strong safeties don't get paid like free safeties. It'll be an interesting case to watch and it could potentially get ugly

Hey Zach do u think skins lock up Cousins long term
Zach Links
11:01
I absolutely think they will. Last year, the Redskins told Cousins to prove himself again. He did it and it's time to pay the man.

In theory they could do a repeat tag on him, but that's only going to drive his price through the roof and allow the uncertainty to continue.

Which qb do the giants draft?
Zach Links
11:03
I would have pegged Patrick Mahomes as a guy for the Giants until this weekend's report about him maybe being a top 3 (!) pick. If he's a first round guy, I'm not sure the Giants use a pick that high for a QB. The Giants are hoping that Eli just had a lousy year and that he's not in full decline
11:04
How about someone like Brad Kaaya? He won't blow you away w/ his arm but he has a good feel for the game. Better football IQ than most QBs in this year's class and you could land him Day 3
BradyMania
11:04
I don't have any personal feelings toward Tom Brady or the Patriots, and I recognize that he's one of the elite QBs the game's ever seen... but isn't it kind of tough to call him the best ever? He's playing in an era where QBs are so much more protected than they ever before. What if Montana had this many rules in place to protect him? It's not a knock on Brady -- the narrative is just tiresome
Zach Links
11:07
Honestly, the game is so radically different from where it was 20+ years ago that it's kind of apples to oranges. I don't put a lot of stock into the QB stats for that reason, but I think you have to give Brady his due.

He's been at the top of the mountain for so long and remarkably durable. Five Super Bowl rings.

And, in defense of Brady and the QBs of today...they're facing much stronger defensive opposition, even if the rules have been bent to protect the QBs and boost the passing game. Was Montana regularly facing 6'8, 300lb monsters who can also run 4.4s w/ ballerina like agility?

11:10
who do you see the Bears picking with the 3rd pick? and what free agent QB do they sign???
BearsFan1
11:10
What's the solution for the Bears at QB?
Zach Links
11:12
In a more top-heavy QB draft class, the Bears could find their future starter at No. 3. As I said earlier, I don't know if any of these QBs are a worth a roll of the dice that early. For that reason, I like Jonathan Allen as the pick at No. 3. He'd beef up the front seven and help ease the pressure on whoever is Chicago's next QB
11:13
Rather than go the FA route, here's a thought for the Bears - why not call the Bengals about A.J. McCarron? In theory, Bears could land him & his dirt cheap contract and still have a mountain of money to work with this offseason. Currently, Bears projected to have $55MM of cap space. They can get a lot done w/ that
Dirty Birds 123
11:13
Do you think the Falcons can re-sign both Freeman and Trufant comfortably under the cap?
Zach Links
11:14
Freeman & Trufant are both elite players at their respective positions. Yes, I believe they retain both.

Also, despite what Freeman's agent wants to say, there's a definite limit for RB contracts. He'll be expensive, but won't break the bank

Do the Steelers draft a QB in first round?
Do the Steelers go after a QB in the first round of the draft and if so who?
Zach Links
11:16
I'll make this simple - nope. Big Ben has discussed retirement before, he's not going anywhere right now. With that said, at his age, this needs to be an all-in year for the Steelers. That means taking an immediate impact player in round one, not someone to hold the clipboard. Should be better QB options in '18 draft anyhow.

I read a report on here last week that this is a deep class in general. Will the Vikings and/or others be able to find offensive line starters in rounds 3 and 4?
Zach Links
11:17
Potentially, but evaluators are not thrilled with the O-Line depth in this year's class. Vikes have had back luck with O-Line injuries, but their best bet might be to sign a handful of low-cost vets and hope that a couple stay healthy

Will the transitional nature of LA Charger's home over the next season or two affect their ability to get people to sign for them?
Zach Links
11:17
I don't believe so. If anything, I think they have added certainty since the LA move was announced.
Redskins
11:18
They really have no reason to not give Cousins his deal. Plenty of cap room, he performed well, not the reason they didn't make the playoffs. What gives?
