Wow, so many questions. I will try to get to all of them. Sorry to those who have been waiting for ~30 mins or so
Allen
2:27
When using post june cut the player is released in June correct?
Zach Links
2:28
Teams are allowed to designate up to two players as post-June 1 cuts even if those players are released before June. It's all very confusing, but we explain it in depth here:

greetings from sweden....am glad you are doing this and that there is a hockey chat as well! thanks :)
Zach Links
2:28
you're welcome!

2:28
Biggest move for Giants this offseason?
Zach Links
2:29
It's all speculative, but I think there's something to this Adrian Peterson talk. Zero chance the Vikings keep him at his current rate and I think he sees the Giants as a realistic contender. Eli only has so much time left, so why shouldn't the Giants go big?
Anthony
2:29
Will the Giants use their cap space to help on the offensive side of the ball, maybe adding somebody like Adrian Peterson or Alshon Jeffery?
Zach Links
2:29
Peterson, I think. Jeffery would be nice but not necessary with OBJ there
Ben F
2:29
So AP is gone right. Not coming back to vikes?
Zach Links
2:30
He won't be back at his current price. They'll discuss a reduced deal, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Peterson elsewhere
Nathan
2:31
Do the Seahawks actually do something about that OLine?
Zach Links
2:33
They have to, right?....right?!?!?

They've cheaped out on the offensive line for far too long. They either have to invest in the unit or clone Justin Britt a couple of times over.
Dustin
2:33
Do the Chiefs make any moves besides Poe or Berry?
Zach Links
2:34
Right now, it's hard to see them doing much in free agency if they retain both Berry and Poe. Cutting Jamaal Charles would free up a good amount of room, but again, a lot of that cash would go straight into new deals for those two.
Ryan Pace
2:37
Should I make a deal for Garrapolo if I like him over the QBs in the draft? Or are there too many holes on my roster to give up the picks required?
Joe G
2:37
If the Bears get Garoppolo, is there a legitimate path to playoff contention if they use their cap space and #3 pick properly?
Zach Links
2:38
Too many holes to address, I'm afraid. The Browns are going to make an aggressive run at Jimmy G and the Bears aren't going to want to top that bid.

And, Joe G - the Pats might ask for that No. 3 pick in a trade.

2:38
I know its early but what kind of contracts do you see it taking to land LT that weren't retained (Clady, Beachum, Albert)?
Zach Links
2:39
One year deals for all of them, of course, given the age/injury concerns. I think a $5-6MM base + incentives could make sense. What do you think? Too much? Too little?
Kevin Zeitler
2:40
Should the top guard depth available this offseason drive my price down?
Zach Links
2:41
Nope. As of right now, you are the cream of the crop when it comes to free agent guards and you're not turning 27 until March.

He's in my top 10 free agents:

Jamie Giuntini
2:41
Do you think Bell will command too much money and maybe ruin Steelers chances of signing him and AB to long term deals.
Zach Links
2:42
Addressed this earlier but, no, I think Steelers find a way to get long term deals done with both. Bell's reps know his worth but also know that his earning power is reduced by the fragility of RBs + his off the field nonsense.
EIU!
2:42
If Garoppolo gets traded to be a starter, EIU would be one of the few schools to have 2 starting QBs. Football powerhouse!

2:43
Who do you think the rams will look at in free agency? Thanks
Zach Links
2:45
They need a left tackle to replace Robinson and could also use another strong guard. We've had 3 notable LTs cut this week + Zeitler would be a great addition to the interior, if they can afford him.
Oh, and how about some WRs for Goff to work with?

Connor Byrne broke it down here recently:

Marv
2:46
Who do you see being the steal of the draft?
Zach Links
2:46
Can you be a steal and still go in the top 10? Because Malik Hooker seems destined for superstardom, despite the short resume
2:47
Here's a controversial one (for many reasons)..Joe Mixon. Talent-wise, I think he's a future starter. Will a team roll the dice on him? I'm not sure.
zhang
2:47
How do you see AP and Vikings situation ending up...do they cut him or keep him for one more year?
Zach Links
2:48
He's gone, I think.

We discussed Peterson a bit earlier in the chat so I'd suggest scrolling up and checking that out
Abe
2:49
jaylon smith? does he play in the NFL?
Zach Links
2:49
I sure hope so! I think he'll get on the field this year. Hopefully everything holds up.
Ghost of George Halas
2:49
Phew I finally made it back and figured I'd see how many championships the Bears have since I've been gone; my Bears are still Monsters of the Midway, right?
Zach Links
2:49
Hmm, well.....George, are you sitting down?
zzhang33
2:49
What kind of market do you see for Cordarrelle Patterson? Elite (if not best) KR returner but his abilities as a WR remain to be seen...
Zach Links
2:51
I think you'll see a decent market for him, based on the KR abilities like you said.

He should look for a team that will give him another opportunity to perform as a WR. The athletic ability is obviously there and if he can be a difference-maker on offense, he'll have a much larger payday waiting for him on his next trip through free agency
