My favorite part about this expansion draft is that the NHL said "everything has to pass the smell test" and then openly admitted that Vegas will be doing a bunch of backroom deals before the paperwork has gone through.

If they thought they were going to be subpar, they wouldn't have gone out and traded for Taylor Hall though. They're in it now, and they better use the prime years of those two, Henrique and Palmieri well.
