There won't be a lot of good players available for them, but names like Marc-Andre Fleury, Kevin Bieksa and Dion Phaneuf all might be asked to waive their NMC and get taken.

If Ottawa leaves him exposed, Chris Wideman would look nice. So would Silfverberg if the Ducks are forced to go 4-4.

But really all the expansion stuff is still just speculation.
There are already a dozen deals likely in place from McPhee and Co.

He definitely could. Top-6 centers that can score and play defense don't get traded.
But what you really want to know is if he can get you that #1-2 defenseman isn't it.
That would be a much tougher sell.
Either way, Kadri isn't on his way out.

They might take home back-to-back President's Trophies. They're not going to blow it up because of playoff exits.
But with Oshie, Williams, Winnik, Alzner all leaving..they might add a different feel to the roster.

They're going to lose a good player. I'd look long and hard at Nate Schmidt if I were Vegas.
But Philip Grubauer is the likely choice.
