Tanev and Edler do both have big value (if they can get Edler to waive). I don't think Dallas wants to only select at the end of the round though.

I doubt Dumba is on the team past the expansion draft.
And Dallas can't afford to trade for another defender before it.
Brodin is interesting, but I doubt Minnesota would give him up just for a chance to take Mittelstadt.

I doubt Winnipeg would do it, but Calgary is an interesting option. They have some young goaltenders that will be close when Howard's deal is up.
