Do you think Seabrook would okay a deal to a team in west Canada or would that create a bigger hole for the Hawks d? We saw a lot of rumors about him earlier.
Gavin Lee
6:48
What rumors? You read other sites?!
In all seriousness, Seabrook is the most likely to be moved out of the "core", but I still doubt it happens this year.
6:49
For one he'd have to agree to it like you say and two they still think this is the group--just had a bad series.
Remember they still were the top team in the West.
Robert
6:49
If you were Callahan would you waive your no move clause to keep the group of forwards together? (knowing your contract and health probably scare Vegas away)(keep killorn and namestnikov)
Gavin Lee
6:50
I'd want certainty that Vegas wasn't going to pick me, but that shouldn't be hard to get.
Robert
6:51
Assuming TB gets all 3 RFAs they'd be stacked at forward
and have more in the pipeline
Chris
6:51
With the Lightning clearly being massively disappointing what changes do you see for them. BTW...,the team was bad before the injuries. Love the chat !
Gavin Lee
6:51
These go together I guess.
6:52
I think if anything Brayden Point is that change.
He proved he's an NHL forward, and that's a big add to a group that will get Stammer back.
6:53
They'd like a defenseman, and if Drouin or Johnson are moved it will certainly be for one.
Honestly my biggest issue with that whole team is how Vasilevskiy looks around traffic in front of him.
6:54
It's the thing I notice every single time I watch him, how he looks over top of defenders instead of around them.
I know, that seems petty, but I can't help but feel that way.
Andrew
6:54
Would Calgary be a good landing place for Vatanen? They pick mid to late in the first round and are looking for defensemen?
Gavin Lee
6:55
Are they looking for defensemen? They liked the fit with Stone and might bring him back.
6:56
Josh Healey signed there and should be up either at the beginning of the year or sometime during it.
Robert
6:56
hard to think they want that contract, unless see him as a good leader for young players
Gavin Lee
6:57
This is re: Callahan, and I agree I just mean I'd want an assurance from my GM that I wasn't getting picked.
He's allowed to talk to Vegas, so he could find out for sure.

This chat is the best thing since straws. Thanks
Gavin Lee
6:57
Hey thank you guys for making it great.

6:57
any chatter on the wings first round pick? puck moving d-man would my guess thanks
Gavin Lee
6:57
No chatter yet, but they're meeting with a ton of kids.
6:58
I doubt they pick by position, so they'll just have to see what's there.
6:59
If Makar is still available, sure they could get their D man. But #9 is a little high on my board for Hague or Brannstrom.
I think it's more likely they pick up a center (like most teams in this draft).
As I said earlier, Rasmussen could drop that far and be a nice option.

Since TVR is going to Las Vegas, who replaces him? He was arguably the best d-man the Hawks had in the series vs. Nashville. 1) Keith 2) Hjalmarrson 3) Seabrook 4) 5) Kempny 6) Forsling They wouldn't bring back Oduya or Campbell for the #4 slot would they?
Gavin Lee
7:00
Say hello to Ville Pokka.
7:01
You also forgot that Michal Rozsival is signed through next year.
Yeah. Get hyped Chicago.
Mike
7:01
Pokka hasn't cracked the lineup in 2 years with the club. I saw scouting reports that said he is a below average skater, something the Hawks don't need.
Gavin Lee
7:01
While that's true, they don't have any money.
7:02
They need cheap young players to step in.
They could also go after one of the scrap heap guys near the end of the summer

Which defenseman are the Kings going to lose in the expansion draft? Forbort? Muzzin? McNabb?
