And, we'll see. That team may look much different come September.
John

Could you really see the Flyers giving up #2 for 6, 13, 15 Fromm VGK?
Gavin Lee
6:00
I've been convinced since they hired McCrimmon that they would find a way to pick Patrick.
Jeff
6:00
Your thoughts on MN giving up Tuck - good prospect- or third line guy?
Gavin Lee
6:00
I'm not sure those are mutually exclusive, but yeah he does seem to be more of a middle-six guy than a top line scorer.
Still an NHL player though.
Karl
6:01
What kind of deal does Parayko get? 5.5?
Gavin Lee
6:01
Depends how long, but wouldn't be surprised if that's the floor
If it's long-term at least.
6:02
He's three years away from UFA.

How far out of the ballpark is Duchene to Boston for Brandon Carlo and the B's 18th pick? A Denver sports writer threw that out there but that seems like a bit much.
Gavin Lee
6:02
Seems like a bit much for Boston I'd say.
But it's really not that far out.
Sakic said he wanted a first, prospect and young NHL defenseman
Chris
6:02
When you say the Lightning could look much different come sept.......care to share????
Gavin Lee
6:03
Not that I have any particular knowledge on upcoming moves, but if you told me before the trade deadline that Filppula, Boyle, Drouin, Garrison, Bishop would all be moved in the next few months I would have laughed.
Robert
6:04
It seems like Yzerman just doesn't want Stamkos to have a playmaking linemate.(Traded St. Louis and Drouin) He also traded Gusev's rights who is another offensive minded player but is unsure if he will ever come over from Russia.
Gavin Lee
6:04
Yeah Gusev wasn't coming over for Tampa any time soon.
Shipachyov likely gives Vegas a better chance, but it's still a longshot.
6:05
I don't think Yzerman dictates the line decisions, but I think he did well on the Drouin trade.
Kucherov also said he loved playing with Stamkos at the beginning of last year and wants to try it again
Robert
6:05
Who are center options for the Canadiens and what would they give up to get them?
Gavin Lee
6:06
There are the free agent options, Hanzal, Thornton, Bonino, Gagner, Boyle, Ryan
6:07
Then there are guys like Duchene, Spooner, Bozak, Johnson, Sissons that could be available.
It doesn't sound like a very intriguing group because it's not.
Centers are hard to trade for.
6:08
And see free agency rarely.
John
6:08
Nico/Nolan..who goes 1?
Gavin Lee
6:08
Nico for me.
But I would be extremely happy to get Nolan as well.
Jeff
6:08
Let me reword question- did MN give up to much to protect Dumba/Scandella?
Gavin Lee
6:08
I'm not sure what the original question was, about Tuch?
6:09
No, I think they got off pretty easy.
I would have demanded Greenway, Kunin or Kaprizov or just taken Dumba.

6:10
What direction do you see the Preds going to replace Neal?
Gavin Lee
6:11
That Duchene note earlier was interesting to me, but really they just need Craig Smith to remember how to play hockey.
Fiala, Aberg and Kamanev should be able to fill his production just fine though.
Andrew Gauldin
6:11
Bonino, Marleau, Thornton, Doan, Vrbata... Which one is most likely headed to Anaheim?
Gavin Lee
6:12
You know I'll say Thornton. Don't quote me.
Robert
6:12
Where is Chicago cap wise? They didn't move Kruger and now Hossa is his out for at least this year.
