What do you think of a Brodin to Toronto for Kapanen or to NYR for Buchnevich, or Buf. for Reinhart. I think the Wild want to make a trade for an entry level contract to clear some cap space.

They do likely want that, but also want to hold onto Brodin. Scandella is the defenseman to move.

Apparently all you need is a 2019 fifth-rounder to get defensemen in Montreal.

Other than the Vegas first-round swap, not much.
Hextall is focused on the draft, but if talks don't progress with Weal you might see his rights dealt.
