Kruger I definitely think is still going.
Anisimov I'm not so sure about, but they have something up their sleeve to be sure.
There is too much chatter around them and free agents for there not to be something brewing.

I don't think canes are "desperate" for scoring. Lot of young guys that will only get better. Skinner is still fairly young.

Wow you really think Bjork is ready to jump into a top 6 role? Also what's up with guys like Vatrano and Spooner on the 3rd line? Sweeney was Chiarelli's No. 2 and he loved having an entire bottom 6 over the age of 29... no wonder they want to trade Spooner haha. I miss my Thornton-Campbell-Paille line. Just that grit. They've been very quiet except for some small connections to a couple guys. That usually means something bigger is happening, but who knows.

I'm not sure they are going to trade Vatanen yet, but we'll get our answer soon enough. A Fowler extension will clear a lot of things up in Anaheim.

There is still some talk about them looking at Emelin, which I just think would be a horrible mistake.
LeBrun just brought it up again on Montreal radio though.

He did mention that the left-side trap that Ottawa plays leaves openings for big hits--Phaneuf/Methot/Boro all took advantage of it.
