Gavin Lee
6:02
Welcome folks to another chat.
We're getting closer and closer to having hockey back.
6:03
The KHL is back already, and there are some more junior showcases happening.
Jake
6:05
What up hockey
Gavin Lee
6:05
Hockey: Not much Jake, what up you?
Harry
6:06
Could Liljegren break camp with the Leafs? If so what would happen with Travis Dermott / Ron Hainsey / the sixth defence spot?
Gavin Lee
6:07
It's always possible, but I'd be shocked if Liljegren broke with them.
Hainsey has a role in the top-4 on this team at the moment, and wouldn't be pushed out even if the youngster did.
6:08
Dermott definitely doesn't have his spot locked up, though James Mirtle of the Athletic has pushed that he thinks he'll make it for some time.
Jake
6:08
What's about the Pittsburgh penguins
Gavin Lee
6:08
Still biding their time waiting for a 3C to shake loose.
6:09
Rutherford has been very clear that he has a trade in his back pocket for an average player, but wants an impact guy.
Josh
6:09
Thoughts on the Beauchemin signing?
Gavin Lee
6:09
It can't hurt for so little, and he can still play a bit.
Against weaker competition he might even find some success.
6:10
Anaheim really only needs him to cover the injury duration, and even then Larsson could step in.
It's a low-risk low-reward move.
Rob
6:10
What happened to the rumor of TVR going back to the Hawks for Hossa?
Gavin Lee
6:10
I didn't hear about that one.
But I'd be surprised.
Rob
6:11
It was mentioned a lot several weeks back
Gavin Lee
6:11
Do you remember by who by any chance?
I can look into it.
Joe zane
6:11
Who do you think will have the most salary cap. On the roster on the golden knights
Gavin Lee
6:12
Fleury is their most expensive player.
Joe zane
6:12
You think islanders get there new arena finally on what location
Gavin Lee
6:13
At this point I'm not sure. But I still believe something can get done at the Belmont site.
Rob
6:13
It had all been planned. TVR was never going to stay in Vegas. Hawks and Canes have a long history of trades. Hossa salary cap was the big incentive
Gavin Lee
6:14
But that actually doesn't help the Hawks, moving Hossa's deal.
If he's eligible for LTIR, then it's better for them than taking TVR's contract back.
6:15
He was never staying on Vegas, you're right though. The flip to Carolina was worked out prior to the draft.
Joe zane
6:15
Scottrade center lawsuit what will happen you think
Gavin Lee
6:16
I can't really comment on the suit, as I'm not a lawyer.
But I'll get some insight from Zach on our staff for next week if you'd like.
Harry
6:17
So does Liljegren go back to Sweden or to the Marlies? I personaly like him on the Marlies but I worry about the amount of ice time he will get there.
Gavin Lee
6:17
I think he'll go back to Sweden.
6:18
If Rosen and Borgman are both headed for the Marlies, there won't be a lot of icetime as you say.
Let him develop at home for one more year, play in the World Juniors, and then come over.
Joe zane
6:18
Did they start renovated all ready
Gavin Lee
6:18
It has
