I don't think they sign Neal no. It makes little sense for them with the price tag he'll command.
He's a huge piece for them at the trade deadline.

In terms of highest salary going forward, it could be Shea Theodore depending on how he does this year.
If he proves his top-4 potential and they go long term, he could get a good chunk.
That said, there is so much money coming off the books for Vegas they could basically do anything.

Tampa should rebound, and even Carolina will be in the mix.

I think it's that every year for the Hawks. You saw how the hockey world turned on them after their early exit.
They still had 100+ points last season and won the West.
They're a good team still.

Theodore will be there long-term, and I could see a guy like William Karlsson being a big part of the future.
But not much else from the roster right now. They took assets for short term flips, not long term rostering.

Re: Maatta...I'm not sure. If they go after an impact center, he'll likely have to be in the deal to even some salary.

Where else is there going to be a team? I think they should consider Milwaukee, Seattle, or Quebec.

I love the Milwaukee idea, I've said that before. Interestingly, I mentioned Houston here months and months ago, and I do think it's a real possibility.
Quebec would work, but I still don't think it's happening for a while.
