There is only a week between the last (possible) day of the Cup Final and the deadline for protected lists
I don't think there is a buyout window in there, but I might be wrong.

Yes, still on track.
It's going to complicate things a bit, but since players will still be following the league's protocol there shouldn't be a waiting period for call-ups.

They know what Bean is, he's ready to take the next step, but Hamilton is a Norris-level defender that they love

RE: Centers for Laine, if you include can play center in a pinch...Texier, Domi, Roslovic, Koivu, Nash, Jenner, Foligno, and Stenland. I'm going with 4.

And if Patrik Laine is playing with Mikko Koivu, something has gone wrong, I think.
