So there is considerable appetite for this, but I actually don't really think it's going to happen
At least not the whole year
It's a PA thing too, right.
Team scouts want more time, sure, but kids want to get into pro hockey, certain players want draft rights to expire sooner, some need service clocks to start

Not to mention, what about the guys who are re-entering the draft? They have to wait too, and potentially miss their chance?
It's a much bigger thing than just "we don't have enough tape"
