I find it kind of funny how people laugh because he can't produce anymore, when there are dozens and dozens of players in the league who can't produce and never did
6:32
He isn't one of the best to ever lace em up, but that record is something to be respected.
I wonder if people would react differently if it were Jagr losing the record instead of Howe

read torts not being brought back. They need fire power or was it just coaching and a new coach new philosophy? Need and centre traded a centre need one again? What do they try and do?
Gavin Lee
6:33
I think that team is even worse than people think, to be honest.
6:34
Or I guess, this is exactly how bad they would have been without Tortorella.
Don't get me wrong, it's time for a change, but he is still a great coach that can get a lot out of a bad team.
I think a little retool is in order
6:35
Trade a few of the discontents, and let the new coach start the system with the young guys
Doesn't need to be a huge rebuild
Cbjfan4life
6:35
who goes first .. torts or laine or both
Gavin Lee
6:35
Tortorella's contract ends at the conclusion of this season
So he probably goes first
6:36
But Laine shouldn't buy a house in Columbus

6:36
Do you think the Devils would take Hughes over Power or Clarke given the connection and the lack of a clear cut number one pick this draft?
Gavin Lee
6:36
That's an interesting question!
6:37
I don't know how much they value that connection, but you would think they would at least consider it
I still think Power ends up going first, but that's a fun thought
Mike
6:38
Is Raymond eligible to play any games this year for Detroit?
Gavin Lee
6:39
He isn't. Raymond's deal kicks in for he 2021-22 season

Bruins look great since the deadline without contributions from the 3rd lone offensively. Can you see the Bruins moving any of them (DeBrusk/Ritchie/Coyle) in the off-season?
Gavin Lee
6:40
I think Debrusk could definitely be on his way out, but the interesting thing to watch in Boston I think is whether Hall re-signs
I don't think that's out of the question, and if he does, it would likely cost them some depth
6:41
I know, Krejci comes off the books so you can just move the money over if you want, but they're going to have to commit some more money to the D at some point.
6:42
Don't think Coyle is going anywhere
Mike D
6:42
Is it possible for the Kings to make a deal with Seattle to select Quick in the expansion draft? Would that violate the rules?
Gavin Lee
6:42
Nope, that would be well within the rules.
6:43
Quick doesn't have a no-move clause (or any trade protection at all), so he doesn't have to be protected
Kraken
6:43
How many draft picks will they pick up in side deals?
Gavin Lee
6:43
Not as many high ones as Vegas did
6:44
Remember how bad teams were at the expansion process back then? Anaheim gave up Shea Theodore so Vegas would take one season of an injured Clayton Stoner
6:45
I know, they had leverage because Anaheim needed to protect other defensemen
But still, it was madness
Seattle won't get the same stupidity
Kraken
6:45
Any 2nd tier free agents that might come to Seattle?
Gavin Lee
6:46
Don't think for a second that players will blacklist it
Expansion doesn't mean death like it used to
Seattle could be big players
Dougie Hamilton seems like such a perfect fit, to be honest

can you see the sharks making any major shake ups with their roster this off season?
