I just see Petterson filling the Oleksiak gap, and Bishop fills the need for a veteran goalie. If he had health issues you fall back on Jarry and he either proves himself or doesn’t. It’s the perfect scenario

But the thing about the proposed deal is that I'm not sure they want to spend that much on that other D spot--which is why they were likely going to lose Oleksiak anyway

I think Bishop is a nice target for Pittsburgh if he's healthy, just not sure what the fit would be trade wise
