As for Quebec City, I think they're maybe what, 8th on the list? Maybe they're not even really on the first list
I think several U.S. markets would be looked at ahead of Quebec

Is Milwaukee every going to be a serious contender for a NHL team?  Is the market too small or saturated with other sports?
Gavin Lee
6:32
Here's one that may be ahead of it.
6:33
Honestly though, for the NHL especially the market needs a viable and enthusiastic owner.
That's what got hockey to Vegas and Seattle.
Not the market, necessarily, but the financial backing--and notably the stability of it
6:34
That's one reason why Houston is brought up so regularly, because Tilman Fertitta has expressed an interest in bringing the NHL there.
6:35
He owns the Rockets, and is worth $4.5 billion
I mean he beat out Beyonce for the Rockets

Kinda following your response to the nedeljkovic question, the Bruins had something similar with Swayman this year (albeit over a much smaller sample size). Obviously, the reality of playing in a big market like Boston means that fans have a tendency to overreact or declare certain players "saviors of the franchise," and it seems that Swayman is getting that treatment (some Bruins fans I've talked to even want him starting opening night over Ullmark). So, what's your read on Swayman? Is he really all that, or was this just a case of a solid goalie getting hot behind a good team? Where can we expect him to be in a couple seasons?
Gavin Lee
6:36
There was never any chance that the Bruins were going to hand over this group to a 22 year old with 10 games under his belt.
There is lots of promise in Swayman, and I think the Bruins are more than happy to give him a chance to prove he can play
6:37
But it won't be as the starter right away
This team is going for the Cup, and they have old players that aren't going to mess around with that kind of gamble
6:38
Overall though, I don't think you should compare Swayman and Nedeljkovic in terms of how the organization has treated them.
Big Ol Fun

No Peyton Krebs centering Vegas' 3rd or 4th lines?
Gavin Lee
6:39
Certainly a possibility, but I'd say betting line would be on the more experienced names in the middle on opening night

What’s your rating 1-4 on Wallstedt,Askarov, Cossa, and Knight as prospects
Gavin Lee
6:40
Wow, that's an interesting one

Any word  on Bobby Ryan? He looked good with the Wings last year before his injury
Gavin Lee
6:43
I'm not sure exactly where he is even with his recovery
He had surgery to repair the tricep that tore off the bone,
But he was clear he wanted to keep playing
6:44
I expect it will be a PTO no matter where he lands, if he's healthy enough

You are in a Stanley cup final and can pick any goalie of all time. Who ya got?
Gavin Lee
6:44
Hasek
Mike
6:46
do you see Newhook as a top6 this year? Maybe take over center after kadri’s contract expires?
Gavin Lee
6:46
You know he's one of the players I really want to watch
6:47
Because it might not even be necessary for Kadri to go.
6:48
I wonder if putting Newhook with Burakovsky and Kadri with Nichushkin isn't the better move, all told
But yes, I think it's very possible for him to jump into the top six this year, even though that seems rushed
The Avalanche are willing to put their young kids front and center

Hasek over Roy or Brodeur? Really?
Gavin Lee
6:49
Yep.
He's without hesitation my GOAT

What do The Pens do without Crosby and Malkin to start the year?
Gavin Lee

Miss the playoffs
I mean battle through!
