I mean basically no one at this point. It's hard to fit that whole thing into any cap-ceiling team's budget, and he's still being paid a bunch in actual salary.

Now 2021 is a different story.

If there is anything I've come to expect over the years, it is the Predators adding help on defense even when they didn't seem to need it.

I'd be shocked if they don't make an acquisition at some point.

They just tried to add depth with Sbisa, which makes me think that talks have stalled for the other targets.

The Rangers announced it as Shesterkin, so we go with that for now.

I'm not sure why you'd want to send down Georgiev at this point though.

Ty Smith's upside is a top pairing defenseman, though I certainly wouldn't expect that right away. I think he's going to have a rocky adjustment period when he can't just outskate everyone on the ice.

That's what he does so much in junior

He'll be with New Jersey next year.
