Hello and welcome to another chat!
I'll let some things come in and get started in a few minutes.

When are people going to realize that the leafs have a fundamental roster construction issue, and its not just coaching?  Is dubas really smarter than anyone else in the game?
Gavin Lee
6:11
Mike? Is that you?
I don't think anyone can say that they have a fundamental roster construction issue yet, at least not after a quarter of a season.
6:12
I have no idea if it will work for Toronto. Frankly they have a huge uphill battle to save this season.
But to act like anyone knows the exact recipe for success in the NHL is foolish.
Babcock

We have more data over the last several years that conclude the roster construction is flawed, particularily in the post season vs. the teams that have success.
Gavin Lee
6:13
All of the data pointed to Toronto as one of the best teams in the league over the last two+ seasons. This year that underlying data has changed completely.
6:14
While that may be because of the change in personnel they went through in the summer, it's by no means settled.

Panthers move into second place in their division and still no news on them?????
Gavin Lee
6:15
Florida has an NHL team?
Seriously though, they're overlooked far too often!
6:16
Sasha Barkov may have passed the torch as most underrated player in the league to Jonathan Huberdeau.

What will the Habs to to find some offense to replace the players that have hit the injury list in the last week?
Gavin Lee
6:17
This is where Kotkaniemi really needs to emerge.
6:18
There are whispers out there however that the Canadiens could be getting ready to take a home run cut in trade though.
They're certainly set up for that kind of move, but we'll have to wait and see if it happens.

could any high end pieces become available in Toronto or San Jose if they don’t turn it around?
Gavin Lee
6:19
For Toronto, you'd have to think that Barrie would be moved if things don't change for him under Keefe.
The team might also look at moving one of their other young forwards to change the look on defense, but that still seems like more of an offseason move.
6:20
For San Jose, I wonder if coaching heads would roll first just like Toronto.
It's not like they're going to trade Karlsson or Burns.

What is C. Kreider going to cost a team? Pick and prospect?
Gavin Lee
6:21
Or even just one of those things, depending on when he is dealt, the interest in an extension and his play leading up to the deal.
I don't think he'll bring back a big package, but it would be substantial

Do you think seattle hires mike babcock for their coach.
Gavin Lee
6:21
That's definitely where my mind immediately went.

You think the leafs will have to move a guy like nylander to get a decent d-man and good backup tender to better balance this team?   They are way too too heavy.
Gavin Lee
6:22
Trading Nylander to address the backup goaltender situation is foolish.
I don't think they would trade him for a defenseman either, but that certainly makes more sense at least.
I just don't think that Kyle Dubas is going to move one of the big guns just yet.
6:23
The move to Sheldon Keefe bought him some more time

Does anyone know a good priest well versed in exorcism? Or a shaman that can bless the practice facility? Or just where there’s an empty bunk? I’m so tired...
Gavin Lee
6:23
It's really incredible isn't it
Mike Sullivan
6:23
If I can guide the Pens to the playoffs despite all these injuries, any chance I can get some Jack Adams consideration?
Gavin Lee
6:23
I think he's already one of the front runners.
6:24
Dave Tippett is going to get a huge vote though if he wins the division with the Oilers.
