I think they'd be looking for NHL help though, or something close to it.

I'm not sure if everyone realizes this, but the Hurricanes are going to have six picks in the first three rounds this year (as long as Toronto's isn't top-10)
They're a strong organization with a young core, good coach and tons of assets.
They could be a powerhouse.

Cap situation is tight there. The only room they have is from Tarasenko's injury. If he is coming back they would be in trouble.

Colorado might be, because of Makar and MacKinnon.
But there are lots of fun teams. Edmonton as long as one of those two are on the ice.

Well he's certainly not going to shoot 25% for the rest of his career.
But he's talented! No one ever really doubted that he was talented, it was just hard to rely on him in St. Louis when they had other options.
I will say this though. Beware of the player who sets a career-high in points on a terrible team.
