That would be a mistake for Toronto, probably.

Pietrangelo needs an extension, and he would eat up the entire chunk from Ceci/Kapanen.
Now you need another minimum salary player, and all of a sudden you don't have Liljegren to be that.
I get it, their defense isn't good enough.
But getting an established guy like that probably isn't the answer when you've paid your top three forwards $35MM

I think the latest teams involved were Colorado (still), Dallas, St. Louis and maybe Edmonton.
I personally don't think that Hall will end up in Boston, but I've been wrong before.
I think they'll go after second tier guys like...
