Does Seattle expansion change GMs approach to both this coming trade deadline and the next? Are GMS willing to give up more now knowing they may lose assets for nothing in the Expansion Draft?

It's an interesting thought, but I doubt it plays a real factor.
It would definitely be a consideration for any young player you acquire, or any player with a long-term contract.
But there is still a lot of time before the expansion draft.

What do the Blackhawks do at a the deadline? Clearly the playoffs are not on the horizon, so will they be able to move some contracts?

Crawford has still not been cleared, as far as I'm aware. As for the deadline, their recent run has really complicated things.
I still do think they'd move on from Anisimov for the right price, or trade out guys like Kunitz or Ward. But I don't think there is the same urgency.
It's not like those two would bring back a ton.

I like the move caps made as need speed but still think they need to do more...maybe add defenseman with speed and grit, and maybe another depth forward with grit...I really like kassian....any rumors on if caps anyone else?

They are still looking at defensemen.
They always add one, but they'll have to find a creative way to fit someone in.
