Would the Blackhawks be better served to tear it all down (Keith, Kane, Saad, et al) , move guys like Hartman (periphery guys) or just hope for bounceback years from high priced guys like Toews, Saad, Crawford?  Seems like they are stuck in NHL purgatory with little cap room and a lot of underperforming contracts.

There was some chatter about both earlier, but I'd be very surprised if either went today.

I think the Jets could/would have the most to offer in a trade for Karlsson. Even though they DON"T make trades like this, Karlsson would REALLY solidify their team. A lot of GOOD young players that wouldn't affect there top 6 forwards. What are your thoughts?

Are you optimistic that tolvanen can make an impact as an 18 year old? Seems like the safe move for the Preds, but think theyd be better off adding another big scoring winger - not much room in that lineup for prospects to move into over the coming year or two anyways

But they are definitely going to try and add him to put him in the lineup, and need a spot for that.
