Has Lynch been dressed for the games? What are the chances we see him before we’re done?

Scenario: This week, Steelers beat NYJ, TEN loses to NO.  Following week, Steelers lose to BAL, TEN beats HOU.  They now have the same conference records.  What is the next tie breaker?

Common opponents, on which they'd' still be tied. So it would go to some sort of strength of victory formula, and according to 538 projections, the Titans would be in over the Steel Men in your scenario.

I know we all expect to win the superbowl every single year - however in a realistic world - with all the challenges we've had this year, shouldn't we be satisfied with a play off appearance?  Its been an amazing season all things considered!

If it comes down to it, do you think the Ravens coast in 2 weeks, or stick it to us?
Steelers Insider

Definitely coast if they can. Why not? Who cares if it could help your rival? They have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations and it would be silly to risk the health of starters, beyond maybe one or two possessions just to stay a little bit sharp before the bye.

Seems like Duck is weak hitting the long routes, and OL doesn’t always protect him well.  If you are opposing defense, why not stack the box, blitz a lot, and take your chances?

Because then you might open yourself to letting an already anemic offense move the ball with a splash play, a la the James Washington touchdowns against the Bengals and Browns. But hey, even in those games, there were some Hodges passes that floated a little, and those defenses didn't make him pay. The Bills did.

Once under center a player that goes in motion must reset before the snap... Clearly Hodges was unaware as was Pouncey... Finctner/Tomlin to blame?

Heavens, no. These guys all know that. They've run the Wildcat plenty of times, including with Duck. But sometimes, and stop me if this sounds crazy to you, players, well, they screw up!

Someone said Duck has nothing to lose. I say if he demonstrates he can play QB in the NFL, worst case, he is looking at 2 to 3 mil a year as a backup. To 99.9% of us that is a lot to lose. Last night he did not demonstrate he can play QB in the NFL.

That's a fair point, and probably an unfair thing to say about Duck. It's maybe more accurate to say he's playing with house money. No one else expected him to be here. He already has had a longer and more productive NFL career than anyone would've predicted for him at any point before he entered the game against Baltimore when Mason Rudolph got concussed.
OK, and with that, this chat must end. The locker room opens soon. More chats the rest of the week, and we'll see you there.
