Do you agree that if giffgaff had itemised billing the issue of overcharging would have been identified earlier?
Ash
6:49
It could have helped. Itemised billing isn't a core feature of our system, and it takes some pretty heavyweight development to bring it live. It's something we want to bring to you in time, and I can see it being very useful for small business owners as well as members like yourself.

Do you have any plans to increase the data on the £6 & £8 Goodybag’s soon?
Ash
6:55
Our aim is to offer great giffgaff value across all our goodybags from £6-£25. You folks are always great at challenging us on goodybag pricing, of course. Most of the time we find ways to give you more for the same price or less but occasionally we need to put the price up. We don’t have plans to make any changes at £6 & £8 but we always keep an eye on how they are performing and of course your feedback.

Following on from the Ofcom fine, and having been in the IT industry for 26 years, it seems to me that there is a lack of quality control and/or testing in the IT section of giffgaff, from the major to the minor. If you agree what are you planning to do about this?
Ash
6:57
We're already at work implementing Ofcom's recommendations to mitigate the risk of anything like this happening again.

We're about to time out folks, but I'll try and squeeze a few more questions in under the wire. Thanks for all the great questions today.

jaymailsays on the community has asked about the charity selection process for Payback charities, and what options we have on making it more transparent, here: https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Announcements/Q-amp-A-with-the-gaffe...
7:01
I’m always up for trying more democratic ways to run things and if members can play a more involved role in helping us decide who gets the charitable donation, then that can only be a healthy thing. We could form a members council who could come into giffgaff HQ and help us with that process so it is fully transparent. Please could you and Irenahalder make sure you're taking part on the relevant community threads so we can implement something like this and get your input.

Hi Ash, any plans of venturing into any new products/ markets?

With the closure of gameplan does this mean that giffgaff won't venture into any other areas which aren't core to the business?
Ash
7:02
Not at all, we’ve not been put off expanding giffgaff. We’re not just a mobile phone network, after all - giffgaff is a set of values and an approach to doing business that we think could definitely benefit other industries. We chose financial services with giffgaff gameplan because we think it’s an industry that needed a bit of the giffgaff way thrown in, and even though giffgaff gameplan hasn’t ended up where we needed it, it’s taught us a lot of valuable lessons about how to approach our next experiment.

Hi, i had 2 accounts with Goodybags renew today. Can you explain why I didn't get the increased data?
Ash

The team is checking into this as we speak. We’ll make sure no-one’s out of pocket.

When are you going to implement new improvements and updates to Super Recruiters rewards?
Ash
7:04
Laura, our Super Recruiter manager, is always looking for new ways that we can make sure Super Recruiters are rewarded well. We haven’t got anything to share at the moment I’m afraid, but make sure you get in touch with Laura or Rory to chat about it and they can take your thoughts into account. The Super Recruiter area of our community would be a really good place to brainstorm with other Supers as well.

Will transcript of this chat be made available for the wider community at some stage? Think this is great.
Ash
7:06
It should be available in the thread after the chat closes, but we'll make sure we have a copy for the archives as well. Glad you've enjoyed it.

Hi Ash , Thank you for the Q & A session  , some very good questions and responses ( from yourself )  , pity it couldn't have gone on longer but it was a really good way of interacting ......

Thanks to all of you, too. I'm sorry we couldn't get to everyone's questions in the time we had (we're a little over), but I'd love to do another one of these soon.
