He's 6 feet, 240, a big back with some nice production in college. They kept a big back last year when they decided to carry Terrell Watson for the first half of the year. If they want that option again, Franklin could be in the mix. But I agree with you he's most likely a candidate for the practice squad.

Yes they have guys in mind at every position. They have a board and they call guys when they need them.

Would the Steelers be better off rescinding on Bell and adding depth now at other positions with the cap hold?  Sign Boswell, trade or sign for a veteran ILB, o-line depth, maybe even add Nelson or Bryant opposite AB to let the JuJu stay in the slot and not rush Washington.  Participate in the supplemental draft.  Just add talent that WANTS to be here?

JuJu will play outside in two-WR sets and likely move inside when Washington enters the game. Really, he can line up anywhere at any time. He's a versatile player.
