Hi Ray,  Can you explain how the tie breaker works? How could the Steelers sneak in a head of the Colts or Texans even though they lost to both of them?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:20
Head-to-head isn't used when there are ties among more than two teams. They go to conference record and other tiebreakers in that instance.

How many more starts does Rudolph need before we know if he’s for real?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:21
Five. That would take the Steelers through the Super Bowl. Ha ha.

Ray, I noticed Mason Cole had some snap problems again.  Is the upcoming center draft class deep or could the Steelers pursue a free agent center?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:22
I haven't heard it's a great class for centers. And like I said earlier, you can usually find starting-caliber ones in the second or third round. It's not a position that is often addressed in Round 1.

Why is it so hard to move off Kenny and just admit it’s not working?  24 games and he can’t see open receivers and has happy feet.  Can’t blame everything on Canada.

He is a first-round pick and they control him for two more years. And I think they do want to see what he can do with a better OC.

Although he had (has) personality issues, I recall reading way back when he was starting out that Antonio Brown worked incredibly hard.  Do Diontae and Pickens, who also have had some issues, have a strong work ethic?
Ray Fittipaldo

AB was one of the hardest workers on the team when his mind was right. I would never compare Pickens to AB in that regard, especially after what went down in Indianapolis.

Ray Thank your for the chats. Is it because I am biased that I think so or are TJ protestations about being held constantly legitimate . On Sunday I know I saw him get tackled  by the OT on at least 2 occasions without a call.

Watt complained at least once, too. It doesn't do any good. The NFL wants to protect QBs, not OLBs.

If Mason Rudolph wins a playoff game, does that ensure he'll be back in Pitt next year? And does it bump Kenny to #2 status?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:30
He's a free agent so nothing is assured.

Ok thanks for taking part in today's chat. We'll do it again next week.
