I'm with you. Just depends on which linemen are left at No. 24. They should be able to get a good one that will make an immediate impact.

His injury aside... In hindsight was letting a versatile player like Hubbard go a mistake?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:52
I don't think so. He signed a $35 million deal with the Browns. The Steelers could not afford him at that price.

I thought in a previous article you wanted to pass on Hilton?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:53
I did. I would keep Sutton, but I don't know for sure who will be more affordable. Thus, I said I'd definitely keep one of them.

Do the Steelers need to extend Minkah this year or can they wait a year?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:54
I think Watt is first in line. Not sure if Fitzpatrick will be done this summer as well.

do you think Matt Feiler will be retained?...if so where will he play?
Ray Fittipaldo

I think, like Chris Hubbard, he will make more $ on the open market than the Steelers can offer. He's in the same mold as Hubbard. Teams covet players like him.

Better Qb in the division next season by rank?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:56
Tough question! Is there a true No. 1? I'm not convinced any of them are going to be Super-Bowl winning QBs anytime soon although I do think if the Ravens keep knocking on the door one of these years Jackson will figure it out. So I guess if I had to choose I'd say Jackson No. 1 but not by much.

i read a story recently that said some defensive players surprisingly were undisciplined in their play. Who were they? Minkah and TJ?
Ray Fittipaldo

You saw defensive coordinator Keith Butler hint at undisciplined play over the years. Usually it rears its ugly head in the inability to stop the run because guys get out of position. I think Butler has even been on record and said Tuitt is a guy who gets out of position at times. But he isn't alone. The Steelers defense doesn't work if there is a lot of freelancing and their play late in the season suggests there was a bit too much of that.

I think Burrow will be the best QB in the division if the Bengals' o-line doesn't get him killed?  Where do you think he ranks?
Ray Fittipaldo

Anywhere from 2-4. I don't mean to doge your question, but the other three are a legit tossup. Burrow only played half a year before he was hurt. He looked good, but as you mentioned, the line in Cincinnati might not allow him to reach his potential.

What did you think of Reid going for it on 4th down?  To me THAT is the definition of not living in your fears!
Ray Fittipaldo
2:00
Well, Hill got WIDE open. I like those calls when the CB falls asleep!
2:01
But yes, it was a gutsy call. How can you not like it? It worked after all. What would we be saying if Henne threw one into the ground and the Browns went down and won the game?

Tuitt has a high cap number in 2021 too, but do you think they'll keep him.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:02
If they cut him it will be a post-June 1 cut. That's the only way it makes financial sense. I didn't include him in my story from over the weekend because he's coming off his best year.

I know the Steelers want to run the ball but shouldn't but he priority at OC be someone who can groom a rookie QB into a good QB?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:03
The hope is the new OC will be able to improve the running game whether Roethlisberger is running the offense or someone else.

2:03
any OC will be doomed to failure if your QB won't go under center and run play action.  agree?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:03
All of the QBs in the division round were willing to do that. And, gasp, it worked!
Fred
2:04
Who are the top five QBs in Steeler history?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:04
Kent Graham, Scott Campbell, Rick Strom, Cliff Stoudt and Brian St. Pierre.
That's all the time we have for this week. Let's do it again next week!
