Correct and there are not an abundance of 5-techniques coming out of the college ranks these days. The top DL coming out have different body types now, more 3-techniques.

I like that he comes from the McVay tree. Short resume, but that can be OK if he's a quick learner.

How much do you think Mike Evans will command? Would be a great addition to the WR room and a veteran leader they need.

I still view him as a guy who would want to be paid top dollar. I'm OK bringing in a low- or mid-tier free agent WR and drafting one in the early rounds. It's another good year for WRs in the draft.

Ray, Meyers seems to developed an effective run blocking scheme for the offensive line, but his pass blocking plan seems really lacking with Moore and Cole graded as one of the worst pass blockers in their respective positions. Jones also regressed as the season progressed as a pass blocker. Is it time for a change?

It might be. I think the new OC will want to hire someone he knows for that role. And I'm still stumped why the running game was bad in the beginning of 2022, then good at the end of 2022, then bad at the beginning of 2023 and then good again. They need to find the right person who makes the running game good all the time.
