How big of a discount are we talking? I'd pay him $30 over three years or something like that, but I'm not going to pay him $45 million over three years to be a possession receiver, which is how they've used him over the past two years.

Do you think Ben can handle being quarterback and still oversee Georgia elections?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:49
I don't see why not. He does have a vacation home there.

Who would you most like to see be picked round one?
Ray Fittipaldo

Was thinking about that today. Watched some Jalen Mayfield vs. Alabama back in 2019. He has good feet. People project him as a right tackle, but I'm not sure he couldn't play the left side too. I like him. Christian Darrisaw would be a good choice, too. He's a tackle from Virginia Tech. He played the left side last year, but some analysts believe he's also a right tackle in the NFL. Again, I'm not sure of that. If either of those guys are available and they don't want to take an RB there I would be fine with either of those guys.

Your opinion, will Vince Williams be cut?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:52
It's a possibility. I'd like to see him back but at a reduced salary.

If Ju-Ju leaves in free agency, how high of a priority is drafting a wide receiver?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:53
I'd say anywhere third round and after.
Gino

Ray, do the Steelers still believe McFarland can play or is he considered a failed draft pick?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:53
It's only been one year. Let's give it some time.

Since the Steelers never draft high enough to get an elite tackle wouldn't this be a good year to trade up and take the best LT ? Pair him with the guard we picked up in last years draft and say goodbye to the 3rd and 1 woes.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:54
Except they need the draft capital to rebuild their aging roster in lots of other places, too.

Do you think Claypool is a #1 WR?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:55
He definitely has No. 1 WR traits. He put up some nice numbers as a rookie. I'd like to see him become a bit more competitive on 50-50 balls. But yes, he certainly could be if he continues on his current trajectory.

Where do you think Washington fits in this season?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:55
As the third or fourth WR.

If JuJu leaves what kind of compensation picks might the Steelers be in line for ?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:55
They are currently projected to get fourth- and sixth-round comp picks.

Who has more chacges to stay in Pittsburgh, Juju or M.Hilton???
Ray Fittipaldo

I'd say Hilton.
OK thanks for the questions this week. Let's do it again next week.
