Ray, thanks for the chat. What's the one dark-horse position the Steelers may target in the first round of the draft? I know they have needs on offense, but I can't help but think the injury to Bush and the slim depth at ILB -- they could dip back in here at 24. Their D relies on fast linebackers. Injuries there changed the whole season. You can get a starting RB, OL in rounds 2-3. Thanks.

ILB is a popular pick in some mocks, but I actually think CB is a greater need. You mention injuries could devastate the position. That's true. It didn't help that Bush missed last season. But they drafted him high for a reason. They expect him to be the guy in the middle of their defense. I'm not sure adding another guy to the mix is the right decision, especially with all the needs on the other side of the ball.

I see three best fits for this team in rounds as 1/2 Najee, Dickerson, Leatherwood, Mayfield, and maybe someone like Dwayne Eskridge. Who do you see as the absolute best fits for our situation?

I like most of the guys you mentioned, including Eskridge, but I just can't see them drafting a WR in the first two rounds.

If Ben is back - We know what we need. At 24 OT might be best bet, unless we get a falling star in our lap like Mac, Owusu-Koramoah, Parsons or Slater

Landon Dickerson and Creed Humphrey are the top 2. Dickerson probably the better player, but he has a major injury history. Humphrey more of a Day 2 pick. Good prospect though. Dickerson likely Day as well due to injuries.

They're still way over the cap. Maybe they can do that if they cut a bunch of players, but how likely is that? And if they do, we're talking about a low to mid-tier TE who won't make a lot of $.
